This is a great reference site for nutrition resources, located at the National
Agricultural Library (NAL), part of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
and the Agricultural Research Service (ARS). It includes Dietary Guidelines
information updated June 2003. The Consumer Corner includes food preservation
links, important to those who can and freeze seasonal produce.

Managed by Georgia State University, this site has nutrition education information
translated into about 20 languages. It is copyright free and easily printed.
It includes a new ten-part series focused on simple diabetes nutrition information.

This Hmong language video from the La Crosse County Health department promotes
culturally relevant nutrition and health practices. It was developed by a Hmong
Registered Dietitian. Topics discussed include reasons people may become overweight,
what health problems can be associated with overweight, and diet and physical
