Bipolar Disorder


Bipolar Disorder-also called manic depression-is a brain condition marked by extreme changes in mood, thought, energy, and behavior. Most of the two million plus adult Americans affected by Bipolar Disorder (BD) experience extreme mood swings that alternate between "highs" (mania) and "lows" (depression).
